Sorry, the boards were better before the relaunch, and they were even better than that two relaunches ago.
Where is "tech market conditions?" I guess dice doesn't want us posting about that. All the posts are scattered now, I guess that what dice wanted. It's harder to navigate from one topic area to another.
The old boards, from two years ago, or whatever where far better. Search worked better, quoting from a post worked much better because it was easier to address each individual point.

It's a tad early for me to pass judgement on the "new" board SW, but ..................... I am leaning in your direction!

Concur.
Overdesigned by amateurs.
And yeah, maybe they're trying to shut off the negativity.
I doubt I will continue to post here.

This "redesign" IMHO is an effort to squelch H1B and immigration criticism, along the lines of Dice's past efforts of censorship.

Yeah, we need another place to post. It does seem that Dice is trying to minimize our voice. Dice seems to think that their new audience will be more in tune to the trivialities of Web Game Development than the more serious topics like the dismantling of the US STEM worker workforce.

Maybe, some of you can move on to the sanctuary created by the finest US IT workers.....

Totally agree...it's hard to find things on this, I DO NOT LIKE THIS. Also what is up with things being archieved? I found a couple threads that are less than a month old that are already archieved and you can't add comments or make questions on archieved threads. I've got no problem if they are over 2 months old (let people have some time) and then archieve. I don't like this. Forget the discussion board, if it's going to be like this I'm not sure if it's worth even reading these since it's so hard to find stuff.
Oh also what is up with all of a sudden stuff I've read being posted as "new". If I'm not paying attention every day to number I might think wow 60 more people have commented...nope I've read the ALL.

Yeah, harder to use, takes more of my time to find things. I don't believe in the conspiracy theory that Dice is trying to censor or make it more difficult for people who don't like the H-1B program to post.
The new format might work a bit better on mobile devices though.
But yeah, would have preferred that they had spent their efforts on ensuring that the existing site worked properly. For instance, if I am logged into the main Dice website (for job post searching), I can't log into the message boards properly, and vice versa.

OMG, I agree, this is absolutely horrible. Worse than the last redesign. Why is it all broken up so that now I have to click fifty-eight times to get to the point where I can read a topic thread?
Even worse: I browsed a couple of the tech forums and opened up a few threads, and only one or two comments are displayed. Not the whole thread. I couldn't find any way to display the entire thread. For example, one thread claimed that I had 15 unread replies, but when I clicked on it, it only showed the original question and one reply. W. T. F. Over? This makes the Dice discussion area COMPLETELY UNUSABLE.
We also don't need so many cute little pictures. Dice, we're not three years old.

Should we just request a branch off of reddit.com, because this is fubar.
