IBM is introducing IBM Worklight, a set of development and integration tools that allow developers to write applications and other mobile software just one time for deployment across Apple iOS, Google Android and Research In Motion's BlackBerry platform. To go along with those tools, the company is offering resources through its DeveloperWorks site.
IBM Worklight looks promising for mobile development! Reducing development time and costs sounds good to me. Offering the ability to develop different app types is a major plus - web, hybrid, or native.
"IBM Worklight enables the creation of rich, cross-platform apps without the use of code translation, proprietary interpreters or unpopular scripting languages, while reducing the time to market, cost and complexity of development while enabling a better user experiences across a variety of mobile devices."
