Re: Obama echos corporate propaganda

To illustrate my point about the utter lack of difference between the two korporate "parties" - they were interviewing Michael Bloomberg, New York mayor, just now on the radio.

He changes between the two parties like he changes his underwear - and is welcomed by both parties - although he laughably claims to be an "independent".

He is a true Wall Street republicrat.

He bloviated at length about how America was committing "NATIONAL SUCIDE" because we were not allowing in enough H1B scientists, programmers and engineers - who would have the added benefit of bringing more "diversity" and "interesting new cuisines".

How liberal!  The whole package!  More money for Microsoft and Goldman Sachs and more curry restaurants, too! Win, Win!

Did the right thing? What a joke.. an empty gesture more like. Anyway show me a decent third party candidate who can stand up to entrenched interests.

I could not agree with your disgust for Bloomberg more.  He is a very close advisor to Obama.  He is another proH1B person that has Obama's ear.

Getting back to addressing the comments of Barack Obama, Obama surrounds himself with H1B/immigration work visa advocates, like Gene Sperling, like Hillary Clinton, like these two horribly shallow Indian squirts that Obama made CTO and CIO.  Little does he know, or his does his work visa advocates know, that Intel was one of many, many semiconductor companies at the time, and Intel was NOT a particularly good one at the time either.

Two semiconductor companies that were especially innovative at the time were Zilog and Motorola.  Intel was able to become dominant because of a few lucky breaks and marketing maneuvers, not innovation.  If innovation had been the sole criteria for growth, Intel would have gone out of business decades ago.

The policies of increasing immigration of high tech workers and ruining the careers of US STEM accomplishes the EXACT OPPOSITE effect that Obama claims that he wants.

If Obama really  wants the new innovation to take place in the US, instead of Communist China, PUT AN END TO ETHNIC CLEANSING IN SILICON VALLEY!!!  STOP DESTROYING THE CAREERS OF US STEM WORKERS WITH CHEAP ENTRY LEVEL WORKERS FROM INDIA AND COMMUNIST CHINA!!!!

I make my own curry at home and it is just as good as Indian restaurants.    They scam you by having a separate meat curry and vegetable curry - but the sauce is exactly the same, so you buy both. At home, I put meat and vegetables into the same curry.

Obama wants massive unemployment in this country, because he feels that those people will back HIM in a Communist Revolution to seize the assets of corporations & private individuals who have accumulated more "wealth" than Obama feels is "fair" ....................... in the name of "The People"!

Obama doesn't want "new innovation", because he envisions a society based upon "fairness"!  We all know that each of us has strengths & weaknesses!  We can't all take a test in Math and/or Sciences, and get the same test results ......... all Obama wants is a country of "robots", who depend completely upon "big gov't", and will do what they are told, when they are told, how they are told,  without question!  Individualism will be frowned upon, we all work for the common good; except for the party leadership ........................ naturally!

The system is broke because nobody will do anything. Was voting for Perot an "empty gesture?" Perot lost for sure, but Perot was the guy who put the "balance the budget" thing on the tabel. You can better believe that DC took notice of Perot's fairly strong campaign. You may remember that in 1994 the US nearly did balance the budget.

If both parties are equally corrupt, then what is there to lose by voting for a 3rd party? At least it sends a message to DC.

I am reminded of the Simpson's "Citizen Kang" episode where the people of earth vote to enslave themselves. It turned out that both candidates were space aliens that planned to enslave humanity. But people voted for them anyway because it's a two party system, and nobody wanted to throw his/her vote away. Seems silly, right? But are we not voting against our own interests for just that reason?

That's what a vote for Obama in 2012 could lead up to ......................   :smileysad:

It doesn't matter who you vote for. Cooperations have been running this country since the reagan years. They only get more and more powerful.
