Job Description

Smartronix, Inc., is an information technology and engineering solutions provider specializing in Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Health IT, Network Operations, and Mission-Focused Engineering.

Smartronix is seeking to hire a Network Administrator to provide technical guidance for directing information systems operations. and monitoring.


Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Provide technical solutions to complex integration problems associated with business solutions built using Microsoft Lync Server 2010/2013 or Skype for Business. Plan/Design/Implement/Maintain with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, IIS. Plan/Design/Implement/Maintain with OCS 2007 R2, 2010, 2013.

Required Skills
Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Lync Server 2013 and/or Skype for Business with experiences in managing large environments that include all OS clients.

Understanding of Microsoft network environment (on premise, online, & hybrid)

Required Experience
Minimum Experience Required:

Total of Six (6) years of experience in performing the foregoing functions.

One (1) year of the foregoing total experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.

One (1) year of relevant practical experience.

Five (5) years' experience with telecommunications engineering disciplines and protocols. Comprising of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and verification.

Experience with Microsoft PowerShell.

IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 "Cyberspace Workforce Management" (or achieve within six months of TOA or hiring).

Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIGs.

Minimum Education Required:

BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering.

Security Clearance: Secret clearance required at time of hire based upon a SSBI completed within the past five years.
